Shenzhen Marco Polo cluttered with Smith departure and injury ward

Shenzhen faced its worst setback at the start of the season. According to the announcement by the Chinese Basketball Association, leading scorer Terquabion Smith was immediately suspended from play due to a positive test for doping, and the team began looking for a replacement foreign player. Due to the absence of domestic key player Wang Haoran, the team was unable to use its strength in the game against Liaoning on November 1 and suffered a 20-point loss. This is a situation where domestic players must endure in front of their home fans with their fighting spirit and defensive cohesion.

Save boosted by Takari Johnson's control of the bottom of the goal and generous additions

In the previous 7th round match against Jiangsu, Cheuzhou achieved a 70-62 comeback win despite poor field goals in the first half thanks to Cheng Shuanyi-Feng's consecutive 3-pointers in the 3rd quarter and Takari Johnson's (16 points, 10 rebounds) dominance under the goal in the 4th quarter. In addition, the club is aiming to win the final game of the first stage and advance to the semifinals at the same time by eliminating the sluggishness of the guard team and quickly adding veteran wingman James Nunnally, who has completed the CBA stage verification.
